This teapot sculpture by Angie Harbin resembles a coral reef. She states: “Organic forms that are highly textured and colored are my inspiration. I am particularly drawn to the process of bringing nylon twine to life. Although knotting is labor intensive, it is the rhythm of the movement I respond to. By knotting nylon and using resin, oil pigments and wax, I endeavor to imitate those rich colors, textures and form I find so fascinating in nature.”
