Armilla Burden was primarily a self-taught ceramist, but she did apprentice with Ohio artist Jack Earl in 1993-1994. Burden taught ceramic classes at Indian Lake Ceramics in Russells Point, Ohio and took part in many exhibitions in Ohio and Pennsylvania. — The Artful Teapot by Garth Clark
