Carlo Alessi designed this coffee and tea set in 1945, and it has remained a popular design over the years. Alessi manufactured the set in silver-plated brass from 1946 to 1959 and in chrome-plated brass from 1946 to 1965. Bombé has been produced in stainless steel since 1965 and in silver-plated stainless since 1983.
