The French sculptor Ferdinand Levillain was known for his bronze castings in the Neo-Greek or Classical Greek styles. He designed this silver set produced by Christofle around 1889. The set features male figures in relief. The large silverplated tray is especially impressive with masks, garlands and figures on the ends and a pattern of leopards in the tray.
