This sculpture was commissioned by Sonny and Gloria Kamm for their teapot collection. They enjoy working with artists who do not typically make teapots. Painter and sculptor Karl Wirsum is known for his influential work in the 1970s with the Chicago art group called “The Hairy Who.”
