Peter Meanley is a British ceramist who lives and works in Northern Ireland. He is known for his saltglazed teapots and his academic study of the process. Meanley’s work has become more sculptural even as he continues to use traditional forms. He says:
“I still make teapots but increasingly I make forms which can ‘contain liquid ‘ and be used to pour from. I also make Toby Jugs as spouted pouring vessels.”
