This teapot is modeled as Queen Elizabeth with her favorite dog breed, the Corgi, as the spout. Her hat is the teapot lid.

Richard Parrington established his pottery in 1976 – first named Exile Ceramics and later Parrington Designs. He went on to produce a remarkable range of teapots that took the form of chairs, motorcycles, rocking horses, trains and many more unusual and complex designs. The Kamm Collection owns 87 examples of his work.
