Richard Wehrs created a ceramic sculpture having the features of a monument or shrine. He built this architectural form in three sections. The base includes niches that hold removable gold cups. The middle has gabled windows with projecting plant forms. The top is a removable teapot complete with a gold dome. Wehrs used a green color that mimics the patina of bronze statuary or copper roofing.
