Steve Linn was commissioned by the Kamms to make a sculpture for their teapot collection. He found inspiration in the work of renowned pottery designer Clarice Cliff. “I had an idea to develop a piece based on the teapots of Clarice Cliff…The piece would follow the ‘working-people doing things’ themes that have been an integral part of my work. Hands-on, following the development of the form and the decoration of her pieces.” Seen in this sculpture’s white glass elements are some of Cliff’s most recognizable teapot shapes.
